132 new light rail vehicles for Cologne. And KIEPE is on board!

We are proud to contribute to the next generation of high-floor light rail vehicles for Cologne.

Following the award of the contract to Stadler by Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe AG (KVB), KIEPE has been selected to supply key electrical systems for the HFx fleet, including traction equipment, auxiliary power supply and vehicle control technology.

Designed to increase capacity and passenger comfort, the new HFx vehicles will play an important role in the future of public transport in Cologne.

For KIEPE, Cologne is much more than a project. For decades, we have supported the city's light rail network through modernization programs, lifecycle services and the supply of electrical equipment for multiple generations of vehicles.
