KIEPE completes carve-out of its trolleybus business
Kiepe Electric GmbH, based in Düsseldorf, is continuing its strategic refocusing. In future, the company will concentrate entirely on its core business of electrical systems and components for rail vehicles, both for new vehicles and for modernization projects.
As part of this strategy, KIEPE has successfully carved out the business of electrical systems for trolleybuses. The relevant activities have been transferred to Carrosserie HESS AG, a long-standing partner and leading manufacturer of electric bus solutions.
With this carve-out, KIEPE is strengthening its strategic focus on the rail business and creating the basis for specific investment in technological innovations. Support for existing customers remains assured. The previous contact persons will continue to be available, while the Italian company Carrosserie Hess AG will take over technical support for existing trolleybus fleets in Italy as an authorized service partner.
