Emergency Brake Switch with Emergency Hammer

The KIEPE NBS 400 with Emergency Hammer combines the emergency hammer bracket and emergency brake switch on one base plate to form a single unit. The emergency hammer can be taken out from the bracket of the KIEPE NBS 400 Emergency Brake Switch after the emergency brake switch has been triggered. This prevents theft of the hammer. The bracket for the emergency hammer can be mounted in two different ways: with the hammer’s handle protruding to the left or the right

The KIEPE NBS 400 is the emergency brake switch used. The activation occurs via pulling of the handle. When a pressure point has been overwon the non influenceable triggering of an energy store simultaneously performed actuation of the contacts and the interlocking. The contacts have positive opening operation. This is the only state in which the hammer can be removed from the bracket. Resetting is carried out via a socket spanner¹ to reset the handle via spring tension. The fixing screws are not accesible before triggering. Leadsealing is optional. The housing can be labelled with text.² With 2 change-over contacts for the contact configuration, cutting in the mounting surface is not necessary.
