Description
Emergency brake switches of type KIEPE NBS 550 are designed to meet the high demands of applicable railway specifications. They allow passengers and train crew to initiate an emergency brake or emergency stop by pulling the activation handle. Once actuated, the switch locks automatically. Depending on the model, unlocking is performed using either a socket wrench¹ or a customer-specific safety key¹.
For this model, inscriptions are applied via separate labelling¹ positioned near the visible handle.
