Kiepe’s Fleet Management and Smart Fleet Management software systems, optimize maintenance processes and provide a significant reduction in operating costs.
With Kiepe Fleet Management (KFM), the control units within the vehicle record all events, environmental and operational data, and software revisions. The data is securely encrypted and periodically transmitted to the transport company's base station.
KFM provides optimal insight into the condition of each individual vehicle and the entire fleet at all times. As soon as a deviation is detected in the vehicle, the operating agency can react accordingly.
Predictive Smart Fleet Management (SFM) collects route data and controls the predictive energy supply of electric buses and rail vehicles. Data on consumption, route and performance are measured and made available in a cloud-based application. SFM calculates the expected energy consumption of both battery electric buses and trolleybuses (with In Motion Charging IMC® technology), which increases operational safety, and ensures optimal charging, which protects and extends the useful life of the batteries and charging infrastructure.
